Future Focus
Within an innovative and well-tested framework, we tailor our programs to the specific needs of each organisation we work with.
In collaboration with you, we will design a response to your challenge whether it’s recruitment, retention, or regeneration. We also deliver leadership programs, team building and coaching for individuals, groups and teams.

Within a well tested framework, we tailor the approach to the specific retention needs of each organisation we work with, to maximise engagement and the sense of belonging for all participants.
And we move quickly! We can launch pilots for cohourts of 6-12 participants within three weeks of go-ahead.
Future Focus is a 16 weeks program, with a final touch point at 20 weeks, originally developed to improve the retention of A+E staff in NHS Trusts, under similar circumstances and working conditions to most care workers:
- Focused on the person, on the individual and their engagement, creates a learning experience which supports both the employer and employee, to strengthen the sense of belonging to the organisation.
- Develops a community and re-enforces the sharing of essential values.
- Provides both individual and group support, with key involvement from line managers.
- Offers a balance of face to face and remote interaction, through a variety of easy-to-access tools (e.g. dedicated portal, Skype, webinars).
- Makes best use of on-line assignments (e.g. questionnaires, temperature checks, writing a journal).
- Encourages learning about how to support each other as a team.
- Develops trust and a strong relationship with line managers and more established colleagues.
- Facilitates learning, to successfully apply reflective practices (learning to pay attention, listening to ourselves, coming face to face with our assumptions, noticing patterns, changing the way we see).
The balance of face to face and remote interaction, with support from on-line tools, helps to maximise retention and engagement, while allowing the roll-out to relatively large teams, in a cost-effective way.

Motivation and well-being are predicted both by identification with clients and by organizational identification. As anticipated, care workers indicated higher levels of identification with clients than with the organization, but levels of motivation and well-being are best predicted by the latter.
